Otaku Fanatic

If you are a Jujutsu Kaisen fan, you know this recommendation was on its way to you. Demon Slayer is the best anime to recommend to Jujutsu Kaisen fans because of its similarity with curses, demons, and psychological dilemmas.

Demon Slayer is based in 20th century Japan, where Tanjiro Kamado, a responsible and pure-hearted big brother, lost all his family members due to a demon attack. His sister Nezuko was cursed to be a vicious demon, but things took a turn for these two when Tanjiro pledged to cure his sister's curse by becoming a demon slayer and finding his way to Muzan Kibutsuji, the progenitor of all demons and the murderer of Kamado family.

Demon Slayer is set in the traditional setting of Japan – the 20th century. The anime is packed with crisp and fluid animation, plus the protagonist is similar to Yuji in his compassion and passion for saving his loved ones.

Otaku Fanatic

Illustrated and written by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the anime follows Denji, a homeless boy who used to live with a small and harmless devil named Pochita. After an accident, Denji made contact with Pochita and gained the ability to transform his body parts into chainsaws.

JJK and Chainsaw Man are similar because both these action-packed Shounen series are created by studio MAPPA. Anime like Jujutsu Kaisen may be less in count, but Chainsaw Man has more similarities with Jujutsu Kaisen than any other anime here. It has a reckless protagonist who enters the supernatural world of demons. Both protagonists are young kids with more or less the weight of the world on their shoulders.

Chainsaw Man is more on the comedic and absurd side of Shounen anime. While Jujutsu Kaizen has a more serious tone, The anime is filled with twists and unpredictable outcomes that you will binge it in one day!

My Hero Academia

Otaku Fanatic

Izuki Midoria, born without a quirk (superpowers), dreams of being the strongest hero. He strongly desires to protect the people he cares about and never backs down, no matter how strong his opponent is.

My Hero Academia is an anime like Jujutsu Kaisen, where the protagonist is weighted down with responsibilities overnight. Midoriya's wish to become a hero became a reality when he swallowed the hair strand of all for one and gained his powers as his successor.

There are six seasons of My Hero Academia, so you need to buckle up before committing. All the characters are as strong as they can get, putting in effort to be the greatest. The best part of My Hero Academia is that you cannot assign the title of the main character to just Midoriya. All the characters have different Quirks and have their own unique character development, making them more potent with each passing episode.

The anime has 2 stories. Heavenly Delusion offers you two sides of apocalyptic timelines. The second part of the story shows children being raised in a 'protected school. The children suspect something fishy, and their search for the truth sparks.

Heavenly Delusion offers the same rush of adrenaline you get from anime like Jujutsu Kaisen. The dark apocalypse, mixed with future advancements, will keep you hooked.

Liar Liar

Otaku Fanatic

Liar Liar is your cup of tea if you enjoy anime with dark-themed manipulation and games.

This school settles everything through games, and the top student is gifted with seven stars as the top ranking.

Hitoro is a transfer student at Academy Island. He plays against the empress (top-ranking student) and wins, gaining the title of top student with seven stars.

Hiroto is a prodigy when it comes to games with stakes. He even gave a triggering speech on his orientation day of school, earning himself the bad side of all students of Academy Island.

Every student perceived Hiroto as narcissistic, but after his speech, he had his gut in his clutches because of the consequences he might face from all the students who are now spewing revenge.

While Liar Liar might not offer you the magic and curses you get from anime like Jujutsu Kaisen, it is undoubtedly filled with mind games, plot twists, lies, bluffs, and dark past that will keep you hooked, and it has got manipulations that are similar to jujutsu kaizen.

Mob Psycho 100

Otaku Fanatic

What happens when an introvert is the strongest psychic in the world? Mob Psycho 100 is your answer.

Mob - also known as Shigeo Kageyama, is an esper with immense psychic power. Mob always suppresses his power and keeps his composure calm to protect the people around him.

Mob found the con artist Reigen Arataka at a young age, though Reigen ran a fooling business as a self-proclaimed psychic. After he met with little Shigeo, he hired the little psychic and helped people with supernatural problems.

If you are looking for a sensei-student bond similar to anime like Jujutsu Kaisen, you will enjoy mob psycho a lot. The journey of Shigeo and for accepting his powers to full intensity, the fun interaction with Reigen, and his reactions.

To top this, Mob Psycho 100 has Shigros's cute love life and interactions with his friends in the purest, most heartwarming form. The animation of psychic fights are so beautifully animated that I would label them similar to the animation fluidity of Jujutsu Kaisen.
